Some people have a great relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend and then get married and believe that everything is going to work out perfectly without any effort to keep the marriage together. This idea is folly. If you stop creating a marriage, it ceases to exist. The legal documents do not keep a marriage together, as evidenced by the huge number of marriages which the documents did not keep together:

“The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%
The divorce rate in America for second marriage is 60%
The divorce rate in America for third marriage is 73%”
The best way to keep a marriage together is to learn how a marriage functions and always repair the upsets with your maritial partner. Never go to sleep with an upset between you and your spouse. In fact, that is one of the promises you make in the Scientology wedding ceremony:
